JOB BRIEF
We are looking for a competent Caregiver to care for our clients in a professional and compassionate manner. It’s often a demanding job as you will have to be available for most of the day throughout the week. But, it can also be very satisfying and rewarding, since people who are ill, injured, disabled or elderly are thankful for high quality assistance.
The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help clients.

NIGHT TIME CAREGIVER
Our night time caregivers monitor and assist elderly patients recovering from injuries, illnesses or medical procedures who have special needs overnight; providing personal care, supervision, companionship and support throughout the night.
ELDERLY CARE SPECIALIST
Our elderly care specialists plan, organize and coordinate services and programs that provide elderly and disabled patients the opportunity to live independently; providing services such as social activities, light housekeeping, companionship and meal prep.
DAYÂ TIME CAREGIVER
Our day time caregivers monitor and assist elderly patients recovering from injuries, illnesses or medical procedures who have special needs during the day; providing personal care, supervision, companionship and support during the day.

PASSIONATE ABOUT CARING FOR THE ELDERLY

ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK
Sexual assault, robbery, abuse and other violent crimes are nonexempt; applicants who have been convicted of them can not become caregivers. Driving records may also be checked for repeated offenses, careless driving or anything that could indicate an applicant is not a safe driver.
VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
A valid drivers license, a reliable vehicle with proof of auto insurance is preferred as sometimes you will need to drive clients to appointments.
ADDITIONAL CERTIFICATIONS FOR CERTAIN SHIFTS
There are many different types of caregiving certifications that caregivers can hold, and some in-home caregivers may not hold certifications at all. Depending on the level of care that the client needs, a certification might be one of your top priorities. Certifications include Companion Caregiver, Home Care Aide (HCA), Certified Home Health Aide (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN). Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR) is a plus.
SARS-COV-2 VACCINE
All home care workers in Nebraska must have two doses of an approved SARS-CoV-2 vaccine and recommends to keep up with the most recent surrounding boosters.
